Each year, we dedicate a portion of our resources, time, and talent to initiatives that extend our mission beyond our campuses.
Through programs such as Community Grants, volunteer engagement, and philanthropic partnerships, we support organizations that enrich the lives of seniors, strengthen local communities, and invest in the future of aging. Helping more seniors is at the heart of our mission, and we are actively exploring opportunities to expand our services, both locally and throughout the West Coast.

In 2025, Emerald Communities is awarding $340,000 in Community Grants to 18 local non-profit organizations that support seniors and families in our region. Through this annual program, we extend our mission beyond our campuses—strengthening our communities and fostering opportunities to give back. This is one of our priorities as a not for profit organization.
Each year, a portion of net entrance fees from each community (typically 10% or less) is transferred to Emerald Communities, supporting our mission to extend services to more seniors beyond our campuses. As a not-for-profit organization, mission fulfillment is our top priority. Funds are allocated only after our communities meet strict financial requirements and are reviewed annually by our Board of Directors to ensure responsible stewardship.
